Welcome back to our company newsletter, where we’ll keep you in the loop on all things RealDesk.
What’s RealDesk?
RealDesk.AI is on a mission to eliminate the administrative burden that bogs down real estate brokerages, costing buyers and sellers over $5 billion a year. Built on cutting-edge AI, RealDesk doesn’t just streamline workflows—it makes them invisible. Compliance, commission calculations, deal management, and bookkeeping are handled automatically, seamlessly, and in real time. RealDesk is the modern brokerage operating platform, designed to save time, slash costs, and let brokers and agents focus on building relationships and closing deals.
The Journey So Far
Right now, we’re working with a select — and growing — group of real estate brokerages from across Canada to test some of what we’ve built, and prototype our new innovations.
We’re a proud alumni member of the DMZ (Proptech cohort), and a current member of the NEXT AI accelerator.
News & Media
We’re excited to announce that RealDesk has been selected for NEXT AI, an exclusive founder and venture accelerator that identifies the top early-stage AI startups in Canada! Over the coming months, we’ll be collaborating with some of the brightest minds in AI to accelerate our product development and expand RealDesk’s capabilities. Thanks to NEXT Canada for this amazing opportunity!
We hosted a webinar called “The Office That Ran Itself: How AI Is Revolutionizing Real Estate Operations”, demonstrating AI’s potential to automate the full transaction life cycle. Even though most real estate pros use AI for content generation, they generally aren’t aware of other use cases, such as leveraging machine learning to eliminate manual data entry. We’ll shortly turn this presentation into a white paper that will be available from our website, and likely repeat the webinar to draw in more viewers.
We added two new brokerages in February, both of which are from marquee brands and chose to migrate away from legacy systems to work with RealDesk.
As well, our limited cold outreach campaign was a massive success — in just a few days of calling, our partner was able to book 25 demos with qualified managing brokers interested to learn more about RealDesk. This helped us validate that there’s significant demand for an alternative to current providers, and we’ll be continuing this campaign on a part-time basis over the next three months.
Platform Updates
We completed the initial version of our AI-powered document ingestion prototype, with better than expected results! We expect to deploy this capability to production in late March or early April, and gradually expand to cover additional real estate forms.
We’re currently testing our dynamic payment link functionality, which will allow buyers to provide their deposit to the brokerage without needing to visit a bank branch! One other vendor currently offers this as a standalone solution, but it’s extremely expensive. Our offering, created with our partner Zum Rails, is both affordable and fully integrated into RealDesk, creating efficiencies for the brokerage as well as the buyer.
Priorities for March
Closing Pipeline Opportunities: Thanks to our February outreach, my demo calendar remains very full! There are several prospects that we believe we can close over the course of March and April, as well as others that will materialize later in 2025.
Additional Cold Outreach: We’ll resume our partner’s call campaign at the end of the month to refresh our top of funnel.
Enhancing Our Website: Introducing new resources, improved navigation, and better tools to ensure visitors find the information they need quickly and easily.
Recruiting New Advisors: Seeking experienced professionals to guide RealDesk’s next phase of growth. If you’re passionate about real estate and technology, we’d love to hear from you!
New Platform Features, including:
A full refactor of the Deduction Manager for enhanced flexibility and performance.
Additional new reports and analytics, focusing on accounting reconciliations and financial forecasting.
Reworking our data model to support additional third parties, which will open up more payment capabilities for vendors and other parties.
